I've always known of the importance of owning an LBD, or 'Little Black Dress'. Since I can remember my mother has stressed the importance of having a black dress in your wardrobe, even incorporating multiple styles of the dress if you can. Cool, got that! What I didn't have was its lighter equivalent- a LWD, or 'Little White Dress'. Who knew that this dress would become the highlight of my summer wardrobe.

And the best thing about this dress is that it has POCKETS! I mean who doesn't want a cute dress with pockets?!
The excitement is real, as you can see. Pockets on a dress are hard to come by, so when you find it, you celebrate it!
I paired the dress with heels to show a semi dressy style, but you could always do a sandal or flat and be just as fly. Do you girl!
What I love best about this dress is the design. Off shoulder is everything right now so that's a plus, and then the buttons are the icing on the cake. This attention to style details adds spice to an otherwise simple dress.
My black fringe cross body completed my look with its silver detailing and long fringe. I'm always down for the pairing of black and white; it's a classic duo that will never expire. The look was simple, but just right for my summer wardrobe. LWD for the win!
