You ever buy something too expensive, so to make up for it you try to wear it as much as possible?
Yea, me too.
This dress cost more than I should have spent, but leaving it in the store was never an option, and so... I had to get creative.
In order to justify this purchase, I decided to come up with different ways to wear it.
My main attraction to this dress is that it's two-toned.
And what better way to work a two-toned dress than to give each tone it's own personality?
The black side gave me a more chill vibe, perfect for pairing with my favorite sneakers.
I was searching for a way to incorporate them into a look, but didn't want the typical denim jeans, t-shirt look commonly associated with tennis shoes.
These shoes deserved different.
My dress was relaxed.
My shoes were on fire.
And the jacket, pulled it all together.
They were a match made in heaven.
Finally, add a backpack or crossbody bag to carry only the essentials and you are TTG!
I am encouraging you to buy that piece that you really shouldn't and get creative.
Make your clothes work for you, since you work so hard for your clothes.
