Eyeshadow Pictorial Practice Part I +ABH Modern Renaissance Palette

I have always admired the beauty bloggers on Youtube and Instagram showcasing their talent with makeup. I LOVE seeing how creative people can be with different looks and I know it takes hard work to share those looks with eager make up lovers like myself. I decided to take my admiration one step further, step outside of my comfort zone, and try my own little pictorial using the latest and greatest eye shadow palette by Anastasia Beverley Hills, the Modern Renaissance Palette

Look at these beautiful colors! I will say that this palette was worth every penny. The colors blend beautifully, even for me who is not the best at blending, and look great on a wide range of skin colors. The quality of the shadows made creating this look even better than I thought.

Step 1
First, I did my eyebrows and primed my eye lids with an L.A. Girl concealer, set with the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder.

Step 2
I used the color 'Golden Ochre' under my brow bone, then the color 'Raw Sienna' as my transition color.
 Step 3
I used the colors 'Red Ochre' in my crease and blended it upward toward my transition color and down towards my lid.

Step 4:
On the lid I used the color 'Love Letter', then went back and applied 'Venetian Red' on top of 'Red Ochre' to make the eye more burgandy. 'Venetian Red' was also smudged along my lower lash line.
(I totally understand how hard it is to explain something, for the first time! LOL)

Step 5:
On the inner corner I used the color 'Vermeer'. Lastly, I applied eyelashes from Ardell in the style 'Wispies', created a winged eye using Elf liquid eyeliner and a black eye shadow for the bottom eyeliner.

The finished look!
I mixed a tone of lipsticks and glosses together to get the pinky gloss on my lips, but I am almost positive you could get this color pink almost anywhere.

Overall this was very fun and I love how the looked turned out.

When you smile and one of your eyes decides to be smaller than the other and there is nothing you can do about it and it makes your face look lowkey lopsided, but you're going to smile anyway cause you look cute with your little crazy eye and big smile.

Got to do the kissy faces when your lip gloss is as popping as this.

Gettin' a little up close and personal for ya! My next obstacle to conquer is a winged eye liner than can cut like a knife.

Glow provided by the ABH Glow Kit in Sun Dipped  using the tone "Moonstone".

I can be my own worst critic, so of course I look at this with pride that I was able to do it, but also looking to see where I can make improvements, which has me excited.

If you have read this far, THANK YOU for enduring my first pictorial! This was definitely a lot more fun and a lot less stressful than I thought. I look forward to creating more looks and sharing them all. I am always talking about make up, so now I was able to do more than talk about it. Yay for first times, conquering a mini fear, and of course make up!

Peace and palettes, beautiful people!
