Let's start by saying this...I feel super Instagrammy in this outfit. If you follow enough beauty and fashion accounts on social media, you have definitely seen a look similar to this. The fitted dress, trench coat, and strappy heels. With these three simple pieces you have achieved what I like to call, the "Princess Outfit"! Shout out to Cinderella for making you think it took all that extra mess. Dress, coat, shoes- DONE! Usually when I see the princess fit, it's all about neutral tones or olives. Everyone is so obsessed with khaki, and for good reason. It's a great spectrum of colors, especially for the Fall and inter seasons, but too much of a good thing becomes a bad thing. Excessive amounts of khaki and neutrals is only necessary in prison. Had a little color to your life. Now with the sun out, I decided to switch it up.

So, there is a new career craze that's been growing in popularity. It's being an Instagram Model! Yes, that is an actual thing, for those who may not know. Here is how you become one: be pretty; be considered "goals" in any aspect of your life including, but not limited to: relationships, clothing, eyebrows/liner, or hair; promote some type of product or brand endlessly; and rock the "Princess Outfit". I can't give you much advice in meeting all of those requirements, but I can tell you about achieving the "Princess Outfit"!
First you need a dress that fits you so tight, we can see your organ.s the tighter the better! If you're going to be an Instagram model, we need to know exactly how your lungs, esophagus, and spine look through your clothes. My dress probably wouldn't be considered tight enough, but oh well. It's got a split, so that helps! Plus it's pink and pink is princessy! 😋
This picture is why we need the dress to be tight, so we can see your butt! Nice booties are a slight Instagram Model requirement, but I've seen some with not a lick of cheek action, so you might be okay if you are a little flat in the rear section. Aside from that, how pretty do all the colors on this picture look? I like how my jacket is matching the sky. Can we say Mother Nature bonding moment?!
Instagram Models major in "off guard pictures", so just stop looking at the camera altogether. It doesn't even exist in your mind. Only thing you should be concentrating on is how good you look. Confidence is a major key to being an IG Model. Get you some! 🔑
Enough about career,s let me tell y'all a little bit more about this look. It was actually inspire by Instagram. I mean, I'm on it all the time, so I might as well get some inspiration from it. As I said earlier, I wanted to add some color for the Summer. Pink and blue have always been colors that I though suited each other well (unless you prefer pink with pink, or blue with blue totally your business), so that was an easy decision for me. I had this dress for a while with no real direction for it, until I bought this jacket. Poor thing was so lonely without her soulmate. Now here they are looking simply lovely together. My clothes have better relationship goals than I do! 🙃
The shoes were...because I didn't have any others to choose from at the time. I like the neutral with it, Ecuador neutral is pretty clutch, but if I had the funds and options I might have went with another pastel,colored, like a purple or yellow. Sounds crazy I know, but that's what I think and you ain't changing my mind.
No purse with this look today. I rarely see the Instagram princesses with a bag, unless it's a huge Celine bag holding a lot of air, which I do not own. Sorry. Great thing about wearing the trench, a purse isn't super necessary because of its pockets. You'll only need them to hold your phone. That's it. You won't have a need for money as an Instagram model, considering everything is sent or given to you just for being who you are. Who are you again? Never mind, not important.
