I rarely venture into this section to share my thoughts, feelings, and favorite melodies- that needs to change! I listen to music every single day, throughout my entire day. Sometimes I can stuck on a specific artist, a year, a genre, even a singular song. When I find a song I like, a beat I can vibe to, or the exact lyrics I need to hear in that moment, a melodious sensation is created. It's irresistible and I love it.
Music, of all kinds, can change my mood. It provides the background music for rampant thoughts, allows me to escape from reality whenever needed, and as with this particular playlist, compiled music sets the tone for my sunlit adventures of 2016.
This playlist was birthed through my desire to get lost this summer. Lost in myself, lost in the world, lost in all that could happen for me this summer if I believe it can and allow it to. It will continue to grow, as I do in this season. It will get me trough the late nights, early mornings, and all the happenings between the two. This playlist will help me to create the summer that I imagine every year, but don't get a chance to bring to fruition.
