So, I blinked and New York Fashion Week was over and everyone has moved on to London- whoa! Before I can hop on my imaginary plane to London, I must share my favorites from the end of the week, which was even more amazing than the beginning. I am falling for the patterns and pastels that will come with the fall!
Once again, in the sea of black, the colors of this line caught my eye. I LOVE the sheer, the pastel colors, and the bold pops of colors. The models look gorgeous, obsessed with the dark lip and slick ponytail, and the detailing of the pieces. The patterns put me in the mind of watercolor paintings, which I love! I am so excited to see these pieces in the fall on my favorite style icons.
Talk about a runway! So different, so fun, so Aspen (or so I have read)! I am loving the oversize sweaters and plaid prints, mainly because those are trends that I am already ahead on. I feel fashion forward!!!

I can not resist the neutrals. No, this line doesn't have a lot of color, but the style and the simplicity of this line is so catching for me! I am digging the pleated pants, soft mid-length skirts, and the hints of that pale pink color I have seen everywhere! Very business women of the 90's and the 90's was supposed to be my time, so obviously I could not ignore this line!
I must be honest, when I hear "J. Crew", I think "middle-aged white woman". I never imagined that this would be a line that caught my eye! I love it! The capri dress pants are my favorite and come in so many styles within this fall line. The patterns are gorgeous, the shoes are simple and perfect, and the pieces provide so much variety. J. Crew can be a bit pricey (at least for me), so I am digging the idea of being inspired by this line; dress for less opportunity!

The first thing I saw and loved- the hats! Who didn't see these hats?! I love a bold item; you need that piece that just says, "Hello, I am here!" This line wasn't too dark or too light. The graffiti style and the black and white boxed pattern were my favorite from this line. I can't explain this line, but I think that is what I like about it.

My first thought- "That blue (heart eyes)!". My second thought- "I can do that!". This line is the epitome of elegance and simplicity. No jewelry, hair pulled back, fresh face, and minimal patterns. Oh, I just LOVE it!!!!! This line challenges a woman to be sexy in her most natural form and I am all for it.

Another simple face with no makeup, which is now my favorite look on the runway. The wool material and the pencil skirts made me fall for this fall line. The colors were warm, neutral, and the boots were HOT!
The pieces from these days of shows were on a grandeur scale, like award show gowns and large fur coats, but I wasn't too much into those. If that is more your style and taste you may want to check out these shows and many more!
