Step-By-Step Making a Lace Front Wig

From A-Z, all the steps, materials, products, and tips on how I make a lace frontal wig. Get into this step-by-step!
Gathering Your Materials  This is no small task. You will need to spend a few coins if you want this to be successful. Since you're reading this and hopefully at the stage of making your own wig, I'm sure you have some of these materials already in your hair care stash.

Bleaching the Knots I choose to bleach the knots first, so if any bleach gets on the hair for my frontal, I can apply dye over it to cover up any mistakes. If you do choose to dye the hair first, be careful- DO NOT get any dye on the lace!

Dying the Hair (Optional) I love jet black hair, so dying is not an option for me. This is my first time using this type of dye, and I am happy to say that I won't be going back to the box dye any more. So easy!

Customizing the Hairline Another first for me, considering my other frontals came somewhat "pre-plucked". The trick is to section out what you need and take your time. Put it up to your hairline as much as you need to in order to see what looks right. Remember- HAIRLINES ARE NOT PERFECT!

Sewing Your Wig My favorite part! Make sure that when you are sewing, you go from side to side, using the .... method.

Cutting Your Lace You are almost done! The most alarming part of this is cutting off the sides, which could include cutting off hair. Don't freak out! You won't even notice that hair missing when your frontal is laying as flat and beautiful as it should be.

Laying Your Edges Every girls favorite past time. Laying your edges is an upcoming art form, not to be played with! Get your toothbrush, your head scarf, your Got2Be Gel- AND LAY!
