So, just because it's pretty hot outside, that doesn't mean you should completely put away all your long pieces. Yes, shorts are about the only thing that can be bearable in the heat, but they should definitely not be your only option when it comes to your summer wardrobe. So lets spice things up with a cute pare of DUNGAREES aka overalls, for us simple folks. Not even sure what a dungaree actually is, not feeling encouraged to further explore because the name makes me feel umcomfortable, but I am however eager to share with you how I made this look "Overall Outrageous"! ;) Keep reading! The last time I owned a pair of overalls I was probably in middle school. They were light denim, short, cuffed, and entirely too big for me small frame. I have no pictures to help with the visual, but that's only by the grace of God. My modern day pair are much cuter! I mean, just look at them.
I realized I never wear my glasses in any of my OOTDs x BLT, which is a shame because when I take these pictures is about the only time I don't wear them. I am a four-eyed freak and proud! I thought the perfect time to showcase that would be with this look. Something about the cute front pockets, perfect for holding them, made my glasses an absolute necessity.
Glasses on fleek, overalls on outrageous, and hair on yasssssss! This was a good day and did not take much effort. The best part about overalls is that the outfit is made for you. That makes the rest of the styling extra easy. Always take advantage of the chance to have your outfit made for you! The less work you have to do to be cute, the more time you can spend on pictures of your cuteness. Makes sense, right?

Choosing the overalls was a breezr, however the shirt was not! I could not get the right shirt to pair with my dungys (much cuter nickname, right?). I didn't want one with a lot of detail because it wouldn't be seen. I didn't want one that came up higher than the top of the overalls because it looked funny. Then I saw this used to be dress, turned shirt by my scissors, and realized it was perfect! On trend with the shoulders, simple color, and best fit in comparison to dungys.
I love how open the back is and more adorable booty pockets! I think pockets make your booty look bigger on some jeans, like these. I don't have any concrete data to back that up, but I do have a booty that's looking pretty good in these pants soooooo...yea. If you have any info on this, please let me know!

I had on my favorite (and only) black backpack for this look. Overalls lowkey made me feel like I was back in elementary school, so I thought the backpack was appropriate for my childish vibes!

Last but not least, let me talk about the shoes! Color choice was a breeze, as always. Style, not so much. My dungys/overalls/whatever you want to call them are a little shorter than I prefer this style of wide leg jean to be. Flats only made the length more noticeable, so I needed something with a little lift. I chose my close toe ankle mini heeled shoes. I think they pulled the look together just right.
