2016 Summer Shopping featuring Bodysuits, Floral Prints,+ Off Shoulder Goodness

#AllSummerSixteen! Those three words, in Drake's voice, have been circulating my mind for a strong month now because I am beyond ready for this summer and all it's fashion glory. The trends are everywhere on social media, major magazines, and your favorite celebrities. So of course that means I had to do a little retail therapy in preparation, which also means I had to share some of my great finds with you lovely readers (if you actually exist lol).

I'm really big on cleaning out and getting rid of pieces that I know I'm not going to be wearing any more. Each season I do my annual clothing purge to enhance my wardrobe, allowing it to mature with me. Nothing worse than having a wardrobe that is not a representation of who you are in age, maturity, and mindset. Your clothing is a reflection of who you are, speaking for you before your words ever come out. You've got to make sure it's saying something good! As I get older I am leaning towards more airy and loose fitting pieces that I can wear in tons of ways and moving away from  items that more skin tight and lacking versatility.

Here are 11 pieces that I had to get from my number one stop when vamping my wardrobe for the seasons- Zara. They always have the most on trend items for amazing quality and prices. Keep reading to see my review of how the pieces wears and it's price, with direct links to everything to make shopping a breeze!

Remember how I said I wanted to gravitate away from skin tight, well I didn't mean everything skin tight. Every girl needs a simple, but sexy dress for the summer season and I have mine! This dress fits AMAZING, hugging in all the right places. I love the zipper feature, allowing you to adjust your sexy! Perfect for a day or night party!

Zip Dress- $25.90
Another white dress, but unlike the zipper dress, this one is loose and airy. Plus it has pockets!!! I almost lost my mind when I realized there were pockets because, I mean who doesn't want pockets on a dress? This is an off the shoulder piece- making it so on trend- and feels like heaven on. You can pair this with literally anything and it will be a hit. You NEED this dress in your closet.

Off-the-Shoulder Dress $39.90
I can't really explain what drew me into this bodysuit, but once I got it, I was so happy I had it. It's a creme lace material, with a deeper yellow detailing on the floral print. Extremely plastering color for my deeper tones. The only downside to this piece is that the back isn't made into the "thong style" like some bodysuits, which will create a panty line if you wear a bottom that is extremely tight. Beware!

My first two piece set since...I can't even remember! I've been seeing co-ord sets and the "matchy matchy" trend being super popular for quite a while now, but it is usually in the more minimalist style. I wanted to go for something more festive and had a summer feel, so I had to get this two piece set. The best thing about two piece sets is that you are actually able to make three outfits out of them.
I love this crop top, being that it's off shoulder and fits a slightly longer than most crops.
These pants are almost too comfy to be considered pants! I got mine in a small, and the waist is still a little bit baggy, so I would say to definitely make sure to get your exact size. They are super long, so you will need to wear them with some type of heeled or lifted shoe. The bottom of the pants don't fit bell-bottom style liked I expected, but they still have a slight flare. Gorgeous on!

The next two pieces are the same item, just different colors. I have seen both pieces all over Instagram on some of my favorite bloggers, so obviously I had to be a copy cat. I am so glad I was! This is defnitely the perfect off-shoulder shirt for the season. I love the dramatic sleeves and loose fit. I had to have it in both colors.
I've always had a thing for skort styled bottoms since I was a little girl. I love the cutesy look in the front and the more recreational look in the back. Dressed up or down, a skort can get the job done! I had my eye on this little skort for quite a while and finally gave into it. I am still thinking of what to pair it with, but any piece I chose will look great with this little cutey.

Striped Skorts $25.90
I am a sucker for a cute romper, but I rarely gravitate towards a solid colored style. I always want a pattern (floral) or extra frills. This piece was a step outside of my comfort zone. I love the idea of wearing it with tennis shoes or heel.

Denim Jumpsuit with Straps $39.90
I love a nice backpack! When I am in the mood to buy a bag, I automatically look at the cross-body bags and the backpacks. This bag comes in two additional color (pink and grey), but I decided to go with the yellow because it looked so Summer-ish.

Backpack with Foldover Flap $29.90
Lastly, my favorite item of them all! The absolute coolest cross-body that I can now call my own! I had to have it! I love the suede material, the fringe hanging, and the buckle and other silver detailing. I wanted something bo-ho and chic and this bag did it all! I will admit, it was hard to spend $50 on such a small bag, but I plan to get a lot of wear out of this bag for all the seasons, so I will definitely get my money's worth.

There it is, my Summer 2016 ZARA haul! I hope that you were able to be inspired for your own Summer wardrobe or maybe found a few pieces that you couldn't resist.

Peace and happy Summer, beautiful people!
