This post is long overdue! I mean loonnnnggggg, so I want to get straight to the point! It's sassy, it's easy to wear, it's my perfect little outfit to show off how much of a "Cul-Hottie" I can be!

I've really been into having culottes as a part of my wardrobe. I love the vibe they give of; dressed down and culottes give you "modern day sweat pant", dressed up they are the perfect way to feel boyish, with a hint of femininity. I was never a big fan of these style of pants back in the day, when they were known as gauchos, but I'm all about them now.
For this look, I kept everything super light and airy up top. I thought about pairing the white stripped pant with a dark colored shirt, but I loved the way they looked when I tried on my favorite Forever 21 v-neck bodysuit. The only issue I had was that I needed to tie the pants a little tighter, so that they stayed above the lining of the body suit. Paying attention to little details like that can really help make or break a look.
Since this outfit was designed for the fall, I included my favorite wool coat from Old Navy and a burgundy bag from Zara. Now that it's warmer outside, I would switch out the wool for a jean jacket. The bag could work year round or you could go with something lighter. Be creative!
One thing I really love about culottes is their ability to look good with just about any shoe! You need versatile pants like these on your life. For this look I chose my favorite black boot. These boots are always bringing the edge that you need.
Put all of this together and you have a culottes look fit for a fashionista! Hot where it needs to be, stylishly appropriate, and built with ease in mind. Simple!
