OOTD x BLT | The Iffy Outfit

I'm going to be honest, now that I am posting this outfit, I don't love it as much as I did. When I put it on I felt good and attractive, but now that I look at it, I'm feeling kind of iffy. You're probably thinking, "Why would you post an outfit you don't even like?" Well, because I'm not going to always look back and love everything I've worn and I am learning that that is okay! If it felt good at the time, then that is all that matters and if I don't feel as good later, that is okay too. I have deleted countless OOTD's because I felt that something was "off", but I don't want to do that any more. If I wore it, I wore it with pride and confidence, so I will post it with the same feelings. Posting all of my outfits, regardless of how they make me feel, will be a great way for me to look back and see my growth over the years. We will always be our toughest critics, but you learn so many lessons from the many critiques in life- especially your own. This "iffy"outfit is for anyone who isn't always feeling how their look turns out, or how their hair looks with a new style, or any other iffy feelings regarding your appearance.

I challenge you to take a picture of your "iffy" days (you don't have to post it) and keep it to look back on. Keep it so that you can look back on that picture a few days, months, even years from now and see where you are. I can almost guarantee that no matter where you are in life, that picture will make an impact. You can look back and see how far you've come, how silly you were to doubt yourself, or even how you want to re-create that outfit, hairstyle, or whatever "iffy", all over again!

Before I leave, let me tell you how I picked this iffy look out! I had been dying to wear these shoes that I got on sale at Nordstrom, but I also wanted to wear the hottest fall color-oxblood. I thought that the two together would be a great combination and perfect for a simple night out (which is where I wore this to)! I like that the shoes contrast the tough faux leather jacket, with a little bit of feminine an soft feel, especially with their cool neutral tone. The jeans and black chains strap bag pulled it all together and I was good to go! It was a hot outfit then, if it is "The Iffy Outfit" now! ;)
