REPEAT ALERT! Yes, I repeat outfits, pieces, definitely shoes, plus plenty more, and there is NO shame in my game. I enjoy seeing how I can re-work one piece of clothing, especially into different seasons. When you love something so much you want to wear it as much as possible, but there is a trick to wearing it again, without looking like you're wearing it again. I wore this first in the heat of the summer, with a light linen blouse and neutral strappy heels. The second time was when it was still decent temperatures in the fall, so I chose a ribbed cropped sweater, black strappy heels, and a light weight utility jacket. Now, I am thinking of ways that I could wear this outfit, AGAIN, in the deep of the winter season.
When you're repeating an outfit, think about how you wore it the last time; color patterns, shoes, accessories, even hair- then make some changes. For this outfit there were not a lot of major changes; I added a jacket, changed the material of my shirt, and changed the color of my shoes. It just so happens that my style of hair changed as well. Of course, you can always do more! I stayed with neutral colors for this skirt, but I could have always went with a bold orange to really bring out certain aspects of the skirt, or paired it with booties instead of sandals, or wore a baggier shirt instead of a crop. The possiblities for outfit recreations are endless. Hace fun, be bold, be daring, and have fun transitioning your pieces "From Summer to Fall"! ;)
