My First OOTD Post

My first OOTD post! Woohoo! I'm so excited to share my outfits with you all! I love helping people pick out their outfits, so if I can help someone do so by sharing what I am wearing, I am all for it! And for those who may not know, OOTD stands for "Outfit of the Day"! My mother read this and was completely lost as to what it meant, so I felt the need to educate a little. So, now that we are all hip to the lingo, let's get into it!

This outfit was worn to the movies on a date with my lovely mother to see Think Like A Man Too! (funny movie, by the way!) I literally have done nothing fun this summer thanks to work and summer classes, so the opportunity to put on something cute was met with a huge smile and enthusiasm. I don't normally wear heels to the movie theater, but what the heck! I indulged. I still kept it simple with a black crop for a little sass, high waist jeans (because the movie theater is always cold to me), gladiator heels that I've been dying to wear, and my go to summer hobo shoulder bag (to hide my snacks LOL!). Nothing too outrageous; not every outfit has to scream for attention. "There is elegance in simplicity."
