#OneCityOneBeach 2016| Freeport, Bahamas + Charleston, South Carolina

Drake really called it with the #AllSummer16! Summer 16 was by far one of the most memorable, liberating, and mind altering summers of my life. Naturally, it had to make an appearance on the blog.

Let's start with the beach.
|Freeport, Bahamas|
Go big or go home, right? My first time going on a far trip without my parents, my first time going on a cruise, and the first time feeling pure confidence in my bikini was on an amazing trip to Freeport, Bahamas. A 4 day, 3 night trip that satisfied all of my summer needs, even those that I didn't know existed. To this day, nothing comes close to dancing drunk under the stars in the middle of the ocean. Nothing.

Find you a trip partner! And then take trips!
I feel asleep in this chair. It was heavenly!
Front seat riding with the sweetest taxi driver ever. Did you know that Bahamian men will braid their women's hair? Lowkey trying to move NOW!

Family are the people that God knew you couldn't live without.
My stretchmarks. That I no longer hate.
This actually hurt, but you do what you gotta do for the picture.

If it says "Glass Bottom Boat Tour", don't expect an actual glass bottom boat. For real, lower your standards, immediately. I was happy to see actual sharks though.
Byebye Freeport. You are appreciated!

Hello homeland!

|Charleston|
Charleston, South Carolina

Since my beach trip was a "big" one for me, I kept my city of choice a bit smaller. I visited the beautiful and historic city of Charleston, SC the weekend of the 4th of July. I spent four amazing days with a friend from college who made me feel like family. From Eating some amazing food (stillllll drooling over those burgers, Jesus, hallelujah, thank You Father!), to riding/driving a four wheeler for the first time, having a water gun fight, eating more good food, twerking in a fly ass day party, and laughing with the beautiful soul that is my friend. This type of trip can't be found in many places, but I am so blessed that it found me.
Sitting by the dock of the bay (not really)

There were definite moments that my life flashed before my eyes, but it was fun nonetheless

I made this face quite a lot on this trip. I felt hella sexy for some reason.

And #OneCityOneBeach is born. My goal is to duplicate these trips each summer of my life. Whether on a large or small scale, I vow to make my visits memorable, purposeful, and just as these were.

peace and happy end of summer vacation, beautiful people!
